Pop: Cold That Way, by [info]lilysaid. Joey/Lance. JC is a vampire. Lance has amnesia. What a situation to have to figure out. Anyway. Lance falls in love with Joey all over again and it isn't until after he remembers that he knows Joey is straight and yet he can't help loving him. The beautiful part is in how they all love each other despite everything. The not so beautiful part is how hard it is to read only average fic after reading something of this quality.

Stargate: SG-1: Three Ways Jack O'Neill Will Never Appear on TV and One in Which He Will, by [info]ljs_lj. Four ficlets; three funny about various mishaps and booboos that could happen to Jack and one about a TV retrospective on the dead heroes who made the Stargate project possible.

Workplace Legends, by [info]katie_m. Could've just called this 'the one about the penguins'. All about sending a MALP to check out a world inhabited by penguins. Short, but funny.

Harry Potter: Harry Potter and the Bookwyrm, by Jelsemium. Harry gets trapped with a riddle-asking snake in the library. Rescuers proceed to get trapped with him. The story has all the elements of something that could be funny, then falls into maudlin musing. Erk.

Crossover: Given Up, by Yahtzee. X-Files/X-Men. Mulder finds the X-Men and asks them whether his and Scully's child may have been a mutant instead of a possessed alien. Sad.

Been There, Done That, by Martha Wilson. Stargate SG-1/Hercules. Fun stuff here, but the author's name ought to be a tip-off. If you don't know who she is, for shame. Jack accidentally kidnaps Iolaus. Hercules wants him back. The culture shock is the funniest part, but one of Martha's stories is always interesting.
